To best explain further, consider the diagram illustrated below by Sinclair Schuller. Customer Requirements for a typical CRM on Demand application are listed on the left and Oracle CRM on Demands implementation offers are listed on the right. He explains that, the concerns from each perspective (Customer’s and Oracle’s) tend to align with the respective goals. Generally, a customer will look at SaaS as a new way of acquiring software functionality. Many of them may not care about how it’s done, as long as their needs (and therefore their definition of SaaS) can be satisfied. In summary, SaaS can be best described as; the sum of all features that are list below under the bullets provided with a single software solution, in other words Oracle CRM on Demand.
